Anne Curtis Smith (Filipino-Australian) is a TV presenter, recording artist as well as an entrepreneur. Her achievements have been numerous over the course of her career. The actress was nominated for two Gawad Urian Award. Curtis starred in several television programs, such as Hiram Kampanerang Kuba (2005), Maging Sino Ka Man Dyosa (2008) Green Rose (2011) and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2013). In the Mars Ravelo show Dyesebel she played Komiks famous character Dyesebel. Other roles she has held include hosting the midday variety show It's Showtime from 2009-2020. Anne Curtis was born in Melbourne in Australia on 17th February, 1985. She is an Filipina and an Australian actor. Through her lengthy career, she has received numerous awards like the two FAMAS Awards two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards as well being awarded five PMPC Star Awards. Additionally, she has been awarded 8 PMPC Star Awards nominations and two Gawad Urian Awards. In 2014 she portrayed the well-known Komiks characters Dyesebel in Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. Also, she hosted It's Showtime during the afternoon (2009-2010) Curtis was born in Yarrawonga, Victoria, Australia the daughter of Carmencita Ojales a Filipina from Bolinao Pangasinan and James Ernest Curtis-Smith, an Australian lawyer. Her father married Ojales at the age of 22 in 1982. Jasmine, her younger sister is also an actor. Their father's side had a half-sister called Clare who passed away in 2007 from a cardiovascular disease at the age of four months.
