Her career established when she was offered as a character in the movie Basic Instinct. It was in The Firm however that she got the role of leading female character for the very first time and that too opposite famous actors such as Tom Cruise and Gene Hackman. In the 90s, she worked alongside some of the top actors in Hollywood, including Gwyneth Paltrow as well as Hugh Grant.
